Education in Vietnam is undergoing significant improvements. The system consists of five levels: preschool, primary, secondary, high school, and tertiary. Basic education is compulsory and free for primary and secondary levels. Tertiary education comprises universities and colleges offering various programs. Vietnamese students typically focus on math, literature, and foreign languages. However, challenges such as rote learning and a high-stress environment persist. Efforts to modernize curriculum, promote critical thinking, and enhance vocational training are being made to address these issues and prepare students for a competitive global landscape.
